“ I met one of the waitresses and she recommended this place. We went one Saturday afternoon. The intent was to look at the place, sit for a little while, and have an appetizer. I was told it looked small but was actually larger than appeared. I would disagree it is a moderate sized sports bar. We had the Onion rings and a beer. The ambiance was quiet, but then we were looking for that and it was early afternoon. Plenty of TV's were available, at this time there was nothing we were interested in watching so I can't comment on how willing they would be by finding a TV for me to watch. This has been an issue some place when we are looking for a game. I liked the inside look it was comfortable and would enjoy going there to eat sometime. I was told they are well known for their home made pizza's and we thought of ordering one, but it was an in between time too late for lunch and too early for dinner. I want to emphasize that I would NOT feel intimidated or at risk to go into this place just the 2 of us, older male and female. Consider this when going out. ”

“ This is a great spot for nicely priced lunches that offer plenty of food. I usually go with their personal pizza and salad, but this time I tried the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich with side salad. My sub was filled with shaved beef, peppers, cheese, and onions that tasted great. Their service is always fast, and the servers are friendly. Plus, you get rewards with the Pinpoint app. ”

We split the lunch pizza that a ton of toppings on it, and we both ordered side salads. Overall it's somewhat dark for the restaurant appearance, but it appears to be very clean. ”

But if you're a fan of beer battered onion rings, go to Varsity. Served with a spicy Southwestern Ranch dipping sauce. I like a splash of malt vinegar on 'em. ”
